The Strike Gold 8104 “Shower Slub” Straight Tapered Jeans

This beautiful selvedge denim is one of the latest creations from Tohru Hamamoto. It features a lot of irregularity both in texture and colour. Hamamoto used slub yarn of different concentrations of pure indigo rope dyeing for warp, creating a two-tone colour with a very “Rain” like effect hence why denim heads worldwide have recently coined it “shower slub”. This masterpiece fabric stays at 16oz, and it is woven with low tension on a vintage shuttle loom.

This model is full of details such as its hidden rivets in the back pockets, a deer leather patch and custom iron male rivets and copper female rivets. The male rivets will begin to oxidize over time, but the female ones will darken, providing an ageing aspect.
