The Strike Gold 5105 15oz Slub Grey Weft Slim Straight Jeans

The “SG5105 slubby” jeans are the lightest option in the Strike Gold’s range. These are made of an unsanforized 15oz slubby pure indigo warp and grey weft denim. The fabric has been woven using a super short cotton staple for the weft. The staple length refers to the length of the fibres of any given material. In terms of cotton, this is the average length within a sample of a species. Cotton with longer staple lengths tends to produce softer and hairier fabrics than those with shorter ones, but short-staple fabrics tend to have a fantastic rugged and extremely uneven touch.

To produce this fabric, The Strike Gold have used a super slow spinning of the thread in the shuttle loom to reach this extremely uneven texture.

The cut is a slim straight fit, with slim thighs and offering room at the knees and calves.
