TCB Slim 50´s Jeans

For this slim version, TCB has modified the shape of their popular 50’s regular jeans, looking for a slimmer silhouette with a lower front and back rise. From the fabric to sewing, these jeans are made up to the details.

The fabric is a proprietary TCB unsanforized 13.5oz denim made of 100% Zimbabwe cotton. It has a slubby and irregular texture featuring a natural unevenness such as unstable thread thickness and irregular tense on the fabric made by a vintage loom, not by the mainstream methods of computer regulation.

The trademark Zimbabwe cotton will show beautiful grain fades and TCB’s signature roping. The fades start showing as white dots appearing initially, and then each dots will get connected. As a result, it will show such beautiful vertical fades like authentic vintage pieces.

The jeans are produced with the same material and sewing methods as the TCB 50’s jeans, but with a deerskin leather patch instead of paper.

Both the weaving and sewing have been made in Kojima by Japanese denim craftsmen.

The cut is a slim fit with a low rise.

TCB (which stands for Two Cats Brand or Taking Care of Business) is a Japanese label founded in Kojima by Hajime Inoue in 2012. It specializes in reproductions of the classic American denim icons produced from the 1920s to the 1960s. Among his garments, we can find some of the highest-quality reproductions we have ever seen, made in his own workshop on sewing machines more than a hundred years.
