TCB Cat Bandana Blue

TCB made cookie patterned bandanas in reference to the vintage ones from the ’60s and ’70s. The fabric is woven in Japan by the vintage shuttle loom machines so that it has the selvedge on one side, which we know every denim lover is fond of. Each colour is made exclusively as TCB custom-made colours, and the print is done by the discharging print method, which you often see on many Wabash fabrics.

Speaking of the vintage bandanas, they had a print of an elephant at the corner, and the direction of its nose going upwards or downwards is one of the necessary details to tell when the bandana was made. This time, TCB has parodied it with their iconic cats: Cat’s tail going up or down. The cats are the Inoue-San cats, Tora and Tango 🙂

TCB (which stands for Two Cats Brand or Taking Care of Business) is a Japanese label founded in Kojima by Hajime Inoue in 2012. It specializes in reproductions of the classic American denim icons produced from the 1920s to the 1960s. Among his garments, we can find some of the highest-quality reproductions we have ever seen, made in his own workshop on sewing machines more than a hundred years.
