ONI Denim 602LW-BE “Super Low Tension Beige” 12oz Relaxed Tapered Jeans

These ONI jeans are a fantastic choice to wear in the summer, reflecting, rather than absorbing, light, so they keep you cool. Yet, their weaving construction means they have the durability and breathability to deal with global warming. They are also the perfect smart-casual gear for any situation, unlocking a host of stylish summer outfits to get creative and experiment with.

The fabric is a 12oz beige denim made of American and Peruvian cotton blend. Oni invested a lot of time experimenting in a highly technical production by setting the density of the weft yarn higher than the concentration of the warp yarn. The result is a super low tension denim that keeps the slubby texture and maximizes breathability.

The jeans are made with all the superior-quality ONI details such as copper buttons, high-quality pocket bags, heavy-duty bar tacks and a custom veg-tanned deerskin leather patch.

The cut is the ONI’s 602 relax tapered fit. The taper is pretty aggressive so that it gives a slim-fitting silhouette while allowing for a lot of space at the thighs with a mid-rise.

The legend of ONI is alive to this day. In recent years Oishi-San has devoted himself to experimenting with widely varying grammages, rough textures, different indigo dyeing techniques and novelty cuts while always maintaining a very limited production and wielding his experience in denim which now goes back more than 60 years.
