Kobashi Studio Key Clip Chain

Handmade key clip with a short-chain. The chain is woven in a vintage chain-making machine.

The handmade key hook on this is made of 4mm optimal made-in-Japan straight brass rod, matte finish. An independent barrel polishing craftsman family controls the solid brass matte finish and colour in Saitama (Japan). It will age from oxidization after use with a stunning result.

The original solid brass key hook made from the straight brass rod is handmade by a second-generation metal craftsman family. The curved shape fits the body; it is perfect for belt loops, coin pocket, belt or waistband. A master machine operator weaves the vintage-feel solid brass using a +100 years old a chain-making machine. The wire rolled rings selected are made by a speciality wire rolled ring company founded in 1972 in Tokyo. The solid brass double ring is produced by a small metal hardware supplier based over 80 years ago in Tokyo.
